- Since our last coverage on the development of a Boeing 747-200 Classic for X-Plane 11, a lot of work has been undertaken in many different areas by Felis. Further details to the exterior of the aircraft have since been added, such as dirt and oil, to give the bird a dirtier look.
- How do you activate the 'INIT' screen of the FMC in X-Plane 11's 737? I'm a noob so how do I fly a full flight with Boeing 747 400 on MacBook I know practically nothing? Problem in FMC Setup of Default X-plane11 Boeing 737-800; How do I update the X-Plane 11 b737-800 FMC AIRAC data; How can I find a tutorial to program the FMC on the 747-400?

Morning flight from Denver to Phoenix in the SSG 747-8F. The sim did crash on me after I shut down at the gate, however I was able to get a small bit of land.

Not only that, but Felis has used normal maps to further improve graphical fidelity.

Heaps of work were poured into the cockpit shortly afterwards, including the introduction of textures and more objects.
Thereafter came the implementation of the flight instruments on the front panel, which according to the dates of posting, was achieved in a period of about 1-2 days.

Felis then progressed to work on the textures of the overhead panel and the flight engineer panel. Cockpit lighting was also introduced.
After this, Felis began to work on the gauges and their animations, and also returned to the exterior to work on actuating external flying surfaces.
Manipulators for the entire cockpit, including those which are not planned to have any functionality, were also added.
Finally, within the past week, Felis has begun to work on the systems, starting with the electrical system.
'The basics of electrical system is done,' stated Felis. 'It's about half of its logic. All buses has correct connections and voltages. Now to calculate current distribution.'
As further work on replicating the Boeing 747-200 is shown, Threshold will continue to publish further summary articles.
The progress of the aircraft, including additional screenshots and details, is available to view on the x-plane.org forum.
